When visiting Gatwick Aviation Museum, why not put yourself in the heart of the action and watch the planes take off from the runway -up close and personal.
The Museum, which sits on a 30-acre estate has a very unique offer to its visitors and unlike any other aviation Museum locally, families, friends and enthusiasts can view Gatwick's South runway to watch them gear up and go!
"This is quite an impressive display of aerospace engineering and power. For our visitors to be able to get so close to the action, it really does make for an exciting trip that won't be easily forgotten ", said Museum Manager, Sam Aldridge.
Located in the right hand corner near to the top of the main event field, visitors can walk the grounds and visit the spotters hut, where we welcome and encourage everyone to sit and view the on-going taxi off from the many aircraft taking off from Gatwick Airport.
One of the key benefits for enthusiasts, is that it also creates a safe environment for photo taking and logging.
